Matt Ferebee
Matt leverages decades of diverse advertising experience as FerebeeLane’s Partner and Director of Creative Strategy. With a “whatever it takes” attitude, Matt works with clients to develop more intimate and rewarding relationships with their key audiences.
Prior to the agency’s inception in 2005, Matt led a team of writers and art directors in supporting high-end real estate projects with strategic messages and materials at IMI Resort Marketing. An award-winning writer and creative strategist, with work featured in industry publications such as HOW, Matt spent the first few years of his career at Erwin Penland, a division of Hill Holliday, where he developed print, radio, TV, outdoor and interactive for Wachovia, Verizon Wireless, United Way and MaxFli Golf.
Matt graduated Cum Laude from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in English; he also holds a Masters of Arts in Communication from Wake Forest University. Active in the community and engaged with various charities, he lives in Greenville with his wife, Sally, and their two boys.
